US Soccer delays US Open Cup Draws with Timbers Protest

By Sean McCaffery, July 20, 2018

Portland is protesting the number of foreign players fielded by LAFC as they dropped the game in LA. The US Open Cup Adjudication and Discipline Panel will review this issue and give their decision shortly.

In related news, a player for LAFC made claims well after the game and after the dispute filed by the TImbers of racial abuse. He stated that players from the opponent made such comments, in as much as he did not name them, he will similarly not be named here. This must be dealt with quickly and swiftly as there is no cause for such things and it is not to be tolerated.

Un Victorious Sky BLue Hosting #1 NC Courage in NWSL Play

By Sean McCaffery, July 13, 2018

With a stellar record of 13-1-3 the Courage will be a tired pride as this is their 2nd game in 4 days, giving the NJ side some hope. This is one of 4 games played locally at the same time, for me horrible planning on the parts of at least 3 of the teams and as the Street Soccer USA event is going on at the crossroads of the world, Times Square, I understand Sunday is also bad, but not one afternoon game?
