Sporting KC teams up with Toyota

A first before the first game as SKC names Toyota their inital First Team partner for this and going until the 2020 season. Joined together since 2016 this includes naming rights for Toyota Plaza at Children's Mercy Park, the Drive Time videos on SportingKC.com, cross promos with all 8 local Toyota dealerships and being th official vehicle of the team. In calling KC a key market for Toyota and that they are more than pleased to better their union with a group such as SKC, so in touch with the beat of the city and its doing, sWylon Harper GM for the KC regional office was very happy.

NYCFC making news again

USL affiliate side, San Antonio FC has transferred Sebastien Ibeagha after like Cadwell spending pre season in Florida, LA & Mexico. This 26 year old back line player had been with USMNT U-20's, is the USL Defender of the Year and became the 9th new player since last season. He is very energized with it being great to arrive out of the USL in San Antonio and to be in preseason with NYCFC. Quickly learning of the quality of his teammates, and how tight of a team they are joining preseason and welcoming others in and receive guidance made it seemless.

NCFC takes in a Chivas youth player on loan

As NCFC continues its cast its net far and wide for new players, today they caught  Daniel Rios who spent the last 2 years on loan as well with Coras de Tepic in Mexico for all of 2016 then the first half of 2017 before departing for Alletico Zacatepec. Racking up the minutes to the tune of 2600+ over 38 games in the 2nd division in Mexico, he also filled the net with 17 goasl. Before the loans he had to tries with Chiva 2/24/15 in a 1-0 win and the reserve team in 2016 in 16 games in the 3rd level of Mexican soccer.

NY Red Bulls link up with LYFT

Lyft, the fastest growing on demand transportation service in the USA have entered into an official partnership making them the offical Ride share Partner of the club with a Pickup/Drop off Location at the stadium. Lyft will lift the over all experience of fans by offering their reliable and affordable services. Lyft will enter into the team's Club Loyalty Program for Red Members and be featured in the Transportaion Hub of the Red Bulls website. Lyrft stated in being the partner with RBNY, they are excited to be an easy and valued transportaion option in and out of the games.

NYCFC saves the day, ink Jeff Caldwell

The 22 year old netminder has come to terms following a trememdous pre season. This #19 pick in the MLS Superdraft 2018 spent the last 1.5 months along with his teammates in Florida, LA and Mexico as they prep for this coming season. Caldwell explained that being in camp unsigned was a risk, but he was able to be comfortable. Now he must  put in the time everytime and learn as much as is possible. He seeks to better his game and do so for sometime, that will lead to his being a success.

NC Courage line up against UNC_Chapel Hill

In their inital pre season game, the Courage shutout the college powerhouse 2-0 with a pair of goals coming from Darian Jenkins. Between the pipes, the time was split between Sabrina D'Angelo & Katelyn Rowland. The assists were contributed by Meredith Speck & Debinha. Jenkins is a returning player but saw no time due to an ankle injury last year after being drafted #8 in the 2017 draft. Coach Paul Riley of NC felt it a strong begining for the year with some fitness issues, yet more than pleased with the work and want of the players.

NCFC bests Charlotte

With a 1-0 victory over the Independence, NCFC passed their inital test with it's local rival in the USL. The sole goal was gotten by Steven Miller at 51 minutes off his left foot. A mixed bag of signed and unsigned players achived this win.
