This was expected, Gallese of OCSC was fined an undisclosed amount, yes the refs did muck this up, but even before that happened, Gallese was red carded and did not leave, in fact he came back on the field. He as many now know had a yellow during the run of the game, received another for moving off his line on a PK facing NYCFC. He did not leave the field, he ran onto it after the field player made the save, and was on camera on at least 2 occasions.
I would not say this was a much anticipated rematch of the World Cup Final as this has been such an odd year at all levels. It was thought to be a test of where the US team is as they had not played together in so long, while European national teams have been playing. Where the USWNT is, is the same as ever, the best, their GK did not make a save, the opponent did not have a shot, literally and figuratively.
Yes we had gone to a facility that had been housing unaccompanied, mostly Latino youth, brought out a National team player, high level certified coaches and others to also work with them at a facility that has taken in the less fortunate youth in my hometown of Syosset for well over a century. Yes we have donated and helped others donate to the same facility, dressed up as Santa Sean and given them each soccer balls etc.
The central defender for the best first year team defense in MLS history, Walker Zimmerman is MLS Defender of the Year. His club is one of 2 first year clubs to make this second season, each just one of the 6 to ever do so. The team gave had a paltry .96 GAA, tops in any first year team in MLS lore, aided by 9 shutouts. Just 22 goals was great for the 3rd spot in the MLS and just a pair more than team at #1.

Camps will open Feb. 21 as games begin mid-April with another NWSL Challenge Cup, happening in multiple bubbles as per their Medical Taskforce and public heath authorities.
USC announced earlier that this long and high serving member of their group has expired, back on Oct. 31, his wife of 63 years, passing mere weeks before. Brockport through and through, he went to HS there, and was the GK for Brockport St. as they took the 1955 National title. 1959 saw him as the HC at Spencerport NY HS, where he would remain for more than 3 decades also being their AD. They took 10 County titles, 7 Sectionals, and a pair of NYS crowns. In 1980 he was National HS Federation National Coach of the Year. Back to Brockport and HC from 1981-'83.
No further detailed information was given on the condition of Lindsey relative to symptoms etc., other than she is doing well. No other players have tested positive at this time as she has been undergoing proper protocols once it was known she had a positive result in a test that was from the testing done in advance of this trip. We do of course wish her the best in a full and speedy recovery.
The Dutch ladies are the current European Champs and they meet up on Nov. 27 in Holland.

They just wrapped an 11 day camp in Colorado, complete with snow, now they get after their 9th game of 2020. The last game of course was their 3-1 win in taking the latest SheBelieves Cup.
