This program entitled "NYCFC- Home For The City" airs on Tues., Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. ET on the exclusive TV partner of NYCFC, YES. This is part of their continuing series, "NYCFC-Home for the City" and will of course be a playoff preview.
This first installment is hosted by their commentators Ian Joy & Joe Tolleson featuring guests, David Lee Sporting Dir., HC Ronny Delia & Def. Anton Tinnerholm who has been getting a lot of goals of late.
In a network first, YES will carry the Quarterfinal game facing OCSC Sat. Nov. 21 @ noon ET, coverages start at 11:30 a.m. with a half hour long pregame program with Joy & Joe.
This is the 5th year in a row where the NY team from MLS are in the second season on the strength of a 4 game stretch of wins, markedly facing the NYRB in a rain soaked Derby. During this streak they have dominated, more than doubling their opponents in goals 13-6. Allowing 1.5 goals a game as you head to the playoffs is not ideal, despite the large offensive output. Despite all the turmoil, the team came out of 2020 with the 2nd highest PPG in team lore, just behind that of last year's first place team in the conference.
