ESPN is local Media Rights Partner with Chicago Fire

ESPN is now the exclusive media rights holder for 3 years with ESPN+ their streaming system, the home of live local coverage in both English and Spanish. ESPN + will carry 27 games exclusively  and it will be the sole home for all MLS LIVE out of market games once launched, the balance of their games are on ESPN, FOX & Univision nationwide. NYRB signs another academy product

Kyle Duncan was recently signed to a MLS contract with Red Bull, this following a great  camp and 2 years in France with FC Valenciennes. RBNY HC, Jesse Marsch related that due to his great showing in preseason, this skilled youthful athlete will go from academy to pro. Duncan a grad of their academy departed Red Bull for France and the U-19 team there with the Ligue 2 team, he is a NY player and has been capped at the youth levels.

NCFC snatches a pair of College Stars

Cameron Steele and  Graham Smith had been there for the pre season after being at the invite only combine. Smith is out of the U of South Florida as a standout central midfielder from 2014-'16 with 60 games played.  Described by HC Clarke as being one who went to the combine and stood out, asked back to preseason with a great showing and expected to get minutes with a high work rate and great presence taking it all in  as he improves and assisting the team a lot this season.

USSF hopes Talen Energy Stadium will power the USMNT past Bolivia

The Chester stadium will host the game on May 28th at 7 pm local time as the US looks to go to .500 v the visitors. This is the initial game for the USMNT summer tour which also has stops in Ireland, and France. USMNT HC Sarachan looks forward to this as Boliva adds a good deal of challanges for his young players over the trio of matches. Boliva had different strengths than do Ireland and France, the US is excited to kick it off in the city of brotherly love as it is a great soccer city with an established supporters culture for the National Team.

NCFC gets one from FC Dallas

Aaron Guillen  a Mexican-American back line player and from the FC Dallas academy has joined NCFC. HC Colin Clarke informs that Aaron is an additional athlete coming to the team in the latter stages of preseaon preperations and does address a gap in that this naturally left footed player will be in fact on the left side. His youth and backing up teammates as a hard worker at Dallas and being a homgrown player, he is one coach wants to hold for sometime. Aaron is charged up being with NCFC anticipating getting down to business and achiving large goals with his fellow players.

News I have been awaiting since the Red Bulls dispatched the Chihuahuas last week, they will face Chivas away Apr. 4 @ 10pm ET then roast or rather host them Apr. 10 @ 8pm ET. This will be the first time for the New York Red Bulls in the semifinals of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League. Red Members may pre buy their seats tomorrow until Tues. when they go out to the general public. Details will be sent direct to Red members. NY as a whole played very well in the other rounds with Luis Robles being stalwart in goal and BWP scoring and assisting all over the place.

Earlier we informed that Chris Wingert has joined NY Cosmos B, now we bring you that Jimmy Mulligan, a Cosmos player since 2014, though on loan to Swope Park Rangers part of the time has rejoined HC Giovanni Saverese etc. in Portland with Timbers 2. Jimmy played 69 games 63 of those were starts garnering multiple NASL titles as a fan favorite and one of the players from Long Island. While on loan to Swope Park, he played in 17 games getting 16 starts.

On a WIngert and a prayer Chris and Bljedi Bardic or Cosmos

Defender Chris Wingert, his father Norm played in the original NASL and forward Bardic have signed up for the coming NPSL season. "I'm very happy with these aditions to our club. I've known Chris a long time. He's a quality player that will bring in a lot or experience and leadership to our younger players. " Said new HC Carlos Mendes also of Long Island and of Bljedi he said "Bljedi is a versatile goal scorer that can help us in many ways in our attack."

DC United pick up an MVP

Dane Kelly, the Jamaican international and 2017 USL MVP is now in the fold at DC. This all time leading goal getter in USL history was claimed via the MLS Discovery Process after a great 2017 with Reno 1868 FC. With 18 goals last year getting both MVP & Golden Boot Awards he had back to back hat tricks and left the league with 56 goals and 14 assits over 138 games, more than a goal every 3 games and assists every 10. Previously with the Charleston Battery and Swope Park Rangers he hopes to remain in the big show now.

NYCFC loan out player to Orange County FC

Andre Rawls formerly of the Wilmington Hammerheads is now off to the USL side for 2018, yet NYCFC retains the right to call him back in at anytime during this season. A 3rd round pick by NYCFC in 2015 he spent time with the affiliate Hammerheads then signing on with NYCFC Mar. 3 2016 prior to the MLS season. Last season he was the 3rd 'keeper getting his option exercised for this year. Sporting Director  Clauio Reyna feels it it a tremendous chance for him to log significant minutes between the pipes and advance his game with all wishing him well.
