Sky Blue Looks to the Draft in a Big Way

By Sean McCaffery, December 29, 2020

In the recent past, the local NWSL team, Sky Blue have been adding players to their stable, today they let a veteran and a USWNT player go to Chicago. Young Mallory Pugh and a player they had for half a dozen years, Sarah Woldmoe have blown out of town to the Windy City. Yes, this deal yields SBFC as many as 3 first round draft picks, a pair in the upcoming 2021 Draft and a conditional one in the 2022, yes it is for  players, 7 INTERNATIONAL SLOTS IN 2021 & '22, but you are giving up 2 known entities for the immediate but still future. I am not so sure this sits well with me.
