CHIVAS EARNS DRAWS WITH NY RED BULLS TO REACH CCL FINAL

CD Guadalajara (Chivas) of Mexico advanced to the 2018 Concacaf Champions League (CCL) Final after holding the hosts New York Red Bulls to a scoreless draw on Tuesday evening in the semifinal’s second-leg held at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J., therefore winning the series 1:0 on aggregate.

Chivas, who had won the first-leg last week in Guadalajara, faced a fierced attack by the Red Bulls who outshot them 20-1.

STATSports APEX GPS Units are going to USNT and USSDA Clubs. THe world's largest GPS partnership will cover the U.S. Men's Women's, Youth, Paralympic, Futsal, and Beach National Teams, Development Academy clubs and NWSL. This will lead to the soccer people being able to glean all sorts, millions of pieces, of data at a time on the players perfomance. Distance covered, heart rate, speed, acceleration, deceleration, high speed running and load. These devices were on grand display as the players for the USWNT players coming off the field then having this devices removed from them.

NYRB have an New Partner

Covanta has joined the New York Red Bulls, with the world leader in sustainable waste and energy solutions for comunitiies and businesses well represented in the arena. Based in Morristown NJ, they are now the Official Energy Partner of NYRB. The Energy-from-Waste facility in Newak provides renawable energy to RBA. They use post-recycled waste form municipalities and businesses to make clean energy. This is a sustainable choice over a landfill destination and reduces green house gases. This facility is the only big source with a net negative greenhouse gas footprint.

From the LIJSL Albertson Fury, to the ENYYSA ODP program and now to overseas, Amanda Rooney heads off to the Lithuanian title holders, Gintra Universitetas, who have held the title for 13 years. Already having 2 national titles from the WPSl, as well as an All-Star nod in 2014, and NCAA while with USC,  Amanda hopes to add a few from Lithuania.

The defender will be out for the whole of the series of games with Mexico due to being hamstrung by her hamstring. We will have at least one photograher at the game in Houston on the 8th of April. Of late, 2 other players were added  to the camp as U-23 defenders Tegan McGrady and Haley Hanson got their first call ups. Hanson was the #7 pick in the recent NWLS draft in Philly and played all of both Dash games this year, ties 1-1 with Chicago and a scoreless draw with Utah in their first ever meet, she had been with the U-23's last year and earlier this year.
