Sky Blue now has Howell

Mikaela Howell is on a short term deal wiith the local NWSL team as a forward, whee will be with the team for the balance of the NWSL Fall Series.

Howell stated "Im extremely grateful for this opportunity and to have the chance to join a talented goup of players. I would like to thank Freya Combe and her stafff for believing that I can add value to the squad." She is a native of Basingstoke England and had a stellar 2 years at Monroe CollegeĀ  with 43 goals in but 26 games. She would go on to an asst. coaching position at the school, as a player she was an NJCAA All-American both years and an NSCAA All-American her last. She has re-authored the record books, still holding the top spots in goals, points and assists.

Prior to popping the pond, Mikaela had been with the England WNT at the U-15 & 17 levels as she was with Arsenal for 7 years, from there it was onto Chelsea, Birmingham & Reading. While here she had been with the DC United Women with 5 goals and 7 assists.

Montclair State will be the home for the last pair of games that Sky Blue will partake in for the Fall Series, Oct. 3 facing the Spirit and the 10th taking on the Red Stars.
