Montreal Impact Relocate to the House that George Built

We last saw them at RBA, we will next see them at Yankee Stadium as the Montral Impact move to the Bronx. From Oct. 24 forward on this bizarre year, they will make their home in the Bonx. The 24th is a game facing NYCFC so in that they are back home it makes sense as it is a home game for NYCFC who have just been able to return to their stadium. Now sitting in 8th place in the Eastern Conference, the Impact have a 5-8-1 record. Next up is Sat. at Red Bull Arena facing th Fire at 7:30, follow them on TCA Sports, TSM, 98.5 fm & TSN 690.

NYCFC Back Home at Yankee Stadium

As MLB would not allow anyone else use of facilites of their teams, NYCFC was unable to be at Yankee Stadium despite being 25% owned by them, now with the Yankees season over, they return home. Below is a list of the games one date has been changedas well as a starring time. Do not go by the dates on mlssoccer.com, as of a few minutes ago it was not updated.

Wed. Oct 7 v DC United 7 p.m. ET

Sun. Oct. 11 v New England 4:30 p.m. ET

MLS Moves Portland v Colorado

Proof positive the Coronavirus is far from over, a pair of Rapids players and a staff member have been confirmed having the virus. At this point it is reset for Nov. 4 @ 10 p.m. ET. Sept. 24 had the first positive test results leading the Rapids to shut their training center and have yet to train. All with confirmed results are in self isolation, the balance are under self-quaratine as per the MLS health and safety protocols.

Pozuelo of TFC is MLS Player of the Week

Members of the media voted, interesting we are nationwide and have been at this for about a decade, almost half the life of MLS and longer than many of the franchieses but not included? On the month he struck for a quartet of goals and 2 assists over 6 games and his Toroonto finished the month strong, on a 4 game unbeaten streak, 3 of them wins. From Spain, he tops the league with 9 assists and 6 goals, these totalled up also lead the league. at 8-2-4 with 28 points, his side is tied for the #2 spot in their conference.

NYCFC to Miami

So far, NYCFC leads this new series 1-0 with that being the scoreline as well, this will be the first time they meet at historic Lockhart. Last up, Inter Miami went down 3-0 to the surging Union away. NYCFC is playing well, they won their 4th of of 5 games at RBA & we were there as they took down FCC in dominating fashion 4-0. Mitrita hit for a brace, his first in 30 seconds, the fastest in team lore. July 12, their first match in the MIB games, Tajouri-Shcadi had the lone goal at 64' and an assist v FCC.

A Bit More on the Bulls

Week 15, with about 10 games to go as the Red Bulls of NY go south to Exploria Stadium to take on Orlando City, a 2 game win streak for the visitors coming up against an undefeated in 8 games home team. OCSC shutout by ex Cosmos GK Jimmy Mauer and company last game come up against the team with 4 goals in their last game in NYRB, tops for them on the year as Tom Barlow struck for brace his first multi goal game in MLS.

OCSC HC Oscar Pareja Entering Rare Air as an MLS Coach

The first year coach at Orlando built up his wins with Dallas FC, his 110 wins in MLS play has him sitting in 10th place and should move up a pair of places before the end of next year, but the top spot is more than twice his total now in his 8th year in MLS. The late great Sigi Schmid lords over all others with 240 some 25 above Bruce Arena in the 2nd spot.
