It took us many months over two teams to get the elusive interview with the son of a past co-worker. His father had been speaking of his son as being a great player, always met with a jaundiced eye, I first saw him play before people from Roma, under age and undersized for his age, he more than held his own. Fast forward father and son are making a 4 hour drive a few times a week to Whippany, quite the commute for the New York Red Bull Academy, with high praise coming out of it, a short stint with NYCFC before they dropped that age group.

Coming off a 4-1 win over Jamaica, the US now looks to tomorrow for their next game at noon on FOX, UDN & UniMas. he USMN now have 8 games unbeaten with just one tie going back to Nov. 15, 2019 and the 4-1 win over Canada in this same Nations League.

Many got their firsts, Dest, his first goal on his 20' effort, after 2 for his club team of Barcelona, giving him a trio on the week. The others to get their first tallies for the nation also tallied assists with Tore, Gioacchini, Musah & Sargent getting an assist each.

Earlier, home and away openers were made known, now the cat is fully out of the bag. welcome to Austin and 3 SSS's. This, the 26th year of the league, has the most extensive coverages ever with ABC, FOX, Univision CV & TVA networks.

Fully 37 games are to be shown nationwide with all the networks mentioned, more games are sure to be added the same. ESPN+ will stream all regional broadcasts nationally, out of market, in the US and any games not in English will be on Twitter in English.

USWNT Roster Set for March European Friendlies

HC Andononvski tabbed the 23 for the travel list as they face Sweden and France in April. The 10th at Friends Arena at 1 p.m. ET will have them face Sweden on FOX, the 13th, France at Stade Oceane  from 3 p.m. ET on ESPN2. 

Most came from he NWSL with 17 of them and the remaining 6 are in Europe playing their club ball. Only  a pair were not on the SheBelieves Roster.There will be no fans at either game and 18 player game rosters.

Yes it is real, a friend was bringing such a water to market, we had it tested by a team in Florida it works, this one was naturally occurring, it was not told whether this is or if it is infused.

USMNT Roster Shakeup

The upcoming games with Jamaica & Northern Ireland now have a pair of new players in camp, Christian Cappis & Jordan Siebatcheu are in as Adam, Weah & Gioacchini are back to their clubs due to quarantine regulations where they play club ball.

FIFA, in light of these strange days we are in do not force clubs to let their players out for NT service if they must then undergo more than a 5 day quarantine when released back to the club teams. 

Opening Kick for NYRB Home Opener Pushed Back

At times when such thing occur, it is often to accommodate television, this time no reason given. The new kick off to 2021 is now 8 p.m. ET, the first time in over a year that fans may be in attendance, now, set to be less than 4,000, we hope Covid drops far more in the next moth or so also to afford more the opportunity to attend. The 8 p.m. start assures that the whole of the game will be played "Under the Lights", always a thrill to do so as a kid.

2 Bakers Dozen for Berhalter

The camp to be held in Austria for he USMNT in advance of Northern Ireland and Jamaica will begin Mach 20, this is the 2nd camp, on the first international date from FIFA.

The yea, like the team holds much promise as they get ready for the Concacaf Nations League Final 4 in June, next month the Gold Cup, then begins qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup March 25 are dem Reggae Boyz in Wiener Neustadt at Stadion Wiener Neustadt, Austria. This game is a rematch of the 2019 Gold Cup semis and will be contested at 1 p.m. ET, shown on ESPN2, UniMas & TDN.
