Going into the second leg of the Concacaf Nations Cup against Canada, there were may fans wondering if this game would be another disappoointment following the loss to its northern neighbors just a month prior in Toronto (2-0).

It did not take long to dispel those concerns as Jordan Morris scored on a right-footed volley near the two-minute mark running onto a pass from the newly capped Dutch-American fullback Sergino Denst who played it across from a bouncing corner kick.

Berhalter Taps His 23 to Save the Day in Concacaf Nations League

By Sean McCaffery, November 11, 2019

It is win or go home, although win or lose the will go home from the Caymans after facing Cuba on the 19th. The USMNT did this to themselves in losing to Canada for the first time in over 3 decades and doing so in spectacular fashion. Now they must beat them, which before they lost I would be certain of, then create a goal differential of at least 3 in the pair of games upcoming. A win with Canada should be far harder than beating Cuba by at least 2, no actually it should not.

The Calendar Year Ends as the time of Andonovski Begins

By Sean McCaffery, November 9, 2019

A happy year is coming to a close with the last game of 2019 facing Costa Rica Nov. 10 in TIAA Bank Field, Jacksonville FL at 8 ET on ESPN2 & TUDN. Their last match was a 3-2 win over Sweden in Columbus OH, but the end was a far closer than it should have been. This, the first match for new HC, Vlatko saw Carli Lloyd score a brace, and Christen Press finish out a great run for the 3rd score. Sweden capitalized on a major miscommunication between the keeper and defense of the US and poor marking to get 2 late goals and make it a bit more interesting than was wanted.

RBNY Names Team Award Winners for 2019

By Sean McCaffery, November 8, 2019

Today the team made their honorees for this past season. Danny Royer won the well deserved MVP, in the absence of BWP, he stood above the fray getting it done, this was sponsored by Alcatel. Defensive Plyaer of the Year went to Cristian Casseres Jr., no small feat with others playing in the back on their respective national teams. No surprise as he was a finalist for Humanitarian of the Year league wide, Luis Robles took home this distinction. Amro Tarek, is the Newcomer of the Year.
