By Sean McCaffery, October 25, 2019

From NJ, one of my top USMNT players ever, Tab Ramos will now steer the Dynamo. A long time member of the USMNT a pro in Europe and MLS, their first player signed, Tab is now out of the USSF soccer staff having had years of unheard of successes at the top youth levels, including 3 straight U-20 World Cup Quarters. He walks away from being the Youth Technical Director and U-20 HC to steer Houston in the MLS. Tab stated, " I want to thank US Soccer for the opportunity to help build and guide the Men's Youth National Team Program.

We are now in Contract with a 3/4+Acre Parcel for a Soccer Park

By Sean McCaffery, October 24, 2019

The reason why we have been not so current with articles & photos besides my issues with tech things has been this. It has been a very time consuming process over the last few months trying to put this together. The project is expected to close in the early spring with the hopes of getting some of it up and running by summer as it will be done in sections. Roughly 110(widest) x 800, the 3/4 acres of land will be used for training and small sided games, ages up to U-8 use fields that would fit within the footprint.

Natasha Patel is the NYRB Head of Performance Analysis

By Sean McCaffery, October 9, 2019

Just what I would want, start my job with the playoffs, raise performance with a big gap between games is not so bad though is it? This is what is ahead as she has left the same position with Southampon Football Club of the Premier League, a job she held since 2016. She has 9 years of service with the PL side as she began in 2011 with their academy, since 2016 she has been charged with having video analysis play a bigger role in keeping up with plays and coaches for reviewing purposes as they get ready for games.

By Sean McCaffery, October 8, 2019

Historic success in Europe, no such thing in the Windy City. With 23 major trophies on the continent over 18 years he was berefit of any in his time here. Included in his almost 2 dozen pieces of hardware are a World Cup and UEFA Champions League title, making him among the most decorated players in the history of the game. Fire owner and Chair. Joe Mansueto stated, "Basti has meant so much to our Club. It was an absolute pleasure to watch him play.

As Mentioned Earlier, Jozy Altidore is Out for the Nations League

By Sean McCaffery, October 8, 2019

Upon further review...Jozy is out of the games and the roster now sits at 25. This would rule him out for the game facing Canada at his home field, BMO in Toronto. He is no less than the 2nd player to be lost due to injury on Decision Day in MLS. Who if anyone will be the repalcement? Like the rest of us, he may now watch the game, Friday with Cuba from Audi field at 7 ET on FS1, UniMas & TUDN. I am pretty sure he will be present for the game on the 15th at 7:30 ET, but for the rest of us it will be on ESPN2, UniMas & TUDN. No word on it impacting his play in the MLS playoffs.

Fire end a losing season on a win streak, Burn Orlando 5-2 away

By Sean McCaffery, October 7, 2019

Chicago midfielder Frankwoski had a brace as Katai & Saponog hit once each, giving them a 5 game unbeaten streak and the largest of the few away wins on the year. Just 5 minutes in it looked like anything but a Fire romp as Michel found Akindele who sent one goalward, off the post and the FIre 'keeper, Kronholm. Gaining control of the game early with their 60%  possession for the first quater hour, Chicago had Katai & Sapong press and cause an own goal at 17'. More FIre pressure lead to another goal scoring opportunity as Akindele had a tremendous chance.

Quotes from the Chicago Fire after downing Orlando 5-2

By Sean McCaffery, October 7, 2019

HC Veljko Paunovic, ending on a high note, "I think we accomplished that goal. I think another importan thing is the fact that this team won on the road for the 2nd time this year. That shows that there is improvement. Unfortunately we feel like we ran out of time. In the last two months, we found our form and the team was playing properly. So, we are looking toward the future with a positive approach."
