BEST OF ROUND 26

Kylian Mbappé once again inspired Paris Saint-Germain, Montpellier and Rennes served up a goal fest and the relegation scrap intensified, with five of the bottom six all avoiding defeat. Check out the action from Round 26 of Ligue 1 Uber Eats here!

PSG bounce back in style
Two goals and an assist from Kylian Mbappé ensured Paris Saint-Germain returned to winning ways with a 3-1 win over Saint-Etienne at the Parc des Princes.
Denis Bouanga put Les Verts in front (16') before goals on either side of the interval from Mbappé gave a more familiar look to the scoreline. Mbappé then turned provider for Danilo to head home a third (52') as PSG moved one step closer to a tenth Ligue 1 Uber Eats title.
"The start of the game was not good and I must take responsibility for this," said PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino who must now prepare his side for next weekend's trip to third-placed Nice. "We were able to correct some aspects of our game in the second half which was pleasing. The team showed character to turn the score around after falling behind early in the game."

Troyes deny Marseille at the death

Yoann Touzghar equalised in the final minute to earn Troyes a point in a 1-1 draw at home to Marseille.
Dimitri Payet put OM ahead with a penalty (29') but Jorge Sampaoli's side was unable to see the game through when Touzghar popped up to level the score from close range (90').

Goalless at the Meinau
Strasbourg drew 0-0 with ten-man Nice at the Stade de la Meinau.
Nice captain Dante was given his marching orders just after halftime but neither side could find a breakthrough.
"A point away from home is never a bad result," said Nice coach Christophe Galtier. "Even more so when you come to Strasbourg, who have one of the best attacks in the league and in Europe overall. Not conceding against this team is a positive for us."

LOSC topple Lyon
A smash and grab performance from LOSC gave them a precious 1-0 win at Lyon in the fight for European qualification.
Gabriel Gudmundsson scored the winner (35') from Xeka's dangerous cross to move the reigning champions into the top half (eighth), whilst Lyon slipped to tenth.

"I think we controlled the match until Troyes scored,'' said a disappointed Marseille coach Jorge Sampaoli. "It was a very difficult match because we had just returned from a very long trip (Azerbaijan in the Europa Conference League) but despite everything, we controlled it well. Unfortunately, they equalised with the last chance of the game."
