Soccer: Former NHL executive Jessica Berman has been named commissioner of the NWSL.

Former NHL and National Lacrosse League exec Jessica Berman was named commissioner of the National Women’s Soccer League on Wednesday. Berman’s four-year term will start on April 20.

Editors note: This news is as stated at the top of the posting from another source. It is now some 45 minutes later as I write this, nothing from the league or any of its teams. They complain that they get a very small % of sports coverage, well this is a big thing, and I received 0% of the information on it from them.
