Finally Good News out of Red Bulls

Retirement, players released, players resigned by others, but now a trio of Bulls are back to the Arena for 2020 and beyond. 'Keeper Ryan Meara, Fwd. Brian White & Def. Amro Tarek are back in the fold. Sporting Director Denis Hamlett had this to say, "We are pleased to reach agreements with Ryan, Brian & Amro. As we look to improve our team with new additions, it is also important to make sure we solidify our existing roster and build out our core. We know the value of all 3 players and we expect all 3 to be contributors for us in 2020 and beyond." 

National College Staffs of the Year as voted by USC

The year is over, titles have been won and lost, now the USC makes known their picks for best staffs. All but one took a national title, the other make it to the semis, no shame there. Each will be honored by the USC at their National Convention in Baltimore. Listed by division, school and head coach.

NYCFC have the dates for the CCL but not their Location

It is now known when NYCFC will have their matches facing Costa Rica's AD San Carlos in the 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 games. An exciting time for both teams as they make their debuts in this hotly contested series of games. By virtue of taking the top spot in the Eastern COnference of MLS for the 2019 season, NYCFC punched their ticket, the Ticos did so by way of taking the Costa Rica Primera Division Clausura top spot for the first time in team history.

Conor Donovan, one of the more successful products of the NCFC Youth Academy is now back home in the triangle as central defender, Conor Donovan is back with his local side. The native of Fuquay-Varina at just 23 has already seen time with both Orlando CIty & the Houston Dynamo of MLS and with USL Championship teams Pittsburgh Riverhounds, OCSCB & Rio Grande Valley FC, now he will bring lessons learned there back home.

Sky Blue Season Ticket Information

This morning at 10 a.m, season tickets in their new home of Red Bull Arena become available. At this time, seats may only be ordered by section as they will be assigned at a later date, join other like minded fans on Feb. 8 & 9 at RBA of the 2020 Select-Your-Seat Event. Season TIcket Holders who renew by Jan. 31 will receive priority. Hpping to see many of you there, when you see us say hi!

Yet another team in MLS has set a record this off season in transfer fees paid out as the 'Caps now have invested in Lucas Cavallini with a DP  deal for the next 2 years and 2023 as as option season. Nicknamed El Tanque below are the numbers that show why.

-84 goals in 223 games overall.

-11 goals in 17 games with the full CNT, netting V big rivals Mexico and USA.

-29 goals and 8 assists total with Club Puebla of Liga MX.

-44 goals, 11 assists over 125 games in the Uruguayan Primera Division.

USSF Names 2019 Young US Player of the Year and Player with a Disability

Sergino Dest, Brianna Pinto & Nick Mayhugh have been tabbed to receive this high honors. Dest has just become cap tied to the USMNT as Brianna was in the senior USWNT camp as Vlatko wanted to  see those not currently involved with the senior team especially as those involved had a long season and World Cup, needing the rest.
