Since joining NYCFC in Feb. of 2017, Sweat has more than made his presence felt, the player and club alike are happy about the renewal. Now in Jacksonville with the team he is in his home state for sometime where he first garnered his NYCFC deal after a tremendous trial in 2017.

Ismael Tajouri is the 6th addition to NYCFC thus far this off season of change. At only 23, he should have a tremendous upside as an attacking midfielder. He will link up with the team in Jacksonville later this month for preseason. As explained by the player to NYCFC.com, "It's a dream come true to play for a big club like NYCFC- I'm looking forward to puting in good years with the club, playing good football and making fans happy. I realized Patrck Viera was going to be my new coach ,I was so happy. The fans are number one."

It was announced yesterday that the 23 year old international has joined NYCFC following playing his youth international career with France. Signed as a free agent this may just turn out to be not just an insired move but a tremedous value. In that he already followed MLS, the move to the big city was an honor for Cedric who hopes to entertain the Bronx throng. Born in Toulouse, France he rose through the youth game with Rennes of Ligue 1 featuring his initial first team appearance in '13/'14 facing Nice.

DC United will head off to Clearwater FL. on Jan. 28 to prep for their season to kickoff Mar.3 with Orlando, starting in DC on Jan. 22. IMG Academy in Bradenton will host their first game with top level Malmo FF of Sweden, Feb. 8  this will be live streamed details and start time to follow. Returning to Clearwater for the 2nd preseason camp from Feb. 14-22 and invited by Tampa, an invite to play in the 2018 Rowdies Suncoast Invitational for the third year running, this invitational is one of the premier tourneys in the US back at Al Lang Stadium.

On Jan. 22, NYCFC will head out to Jacksonville to prepare for the Season start on Mar. 4 in KC and their home opener on Mar. 11, hosting the LA Galaxy. They will first face Jacksonville Univ. in a closed door match, on Jan. 31, next up a trip to the left coast to meet LAFC on Feb. 9 and LA Galaxy the very next day. South of the border will be their following destination as they take on Club Atletico de San Luis in Mexico on Feb. 13, back to the states for RSL in Orlando on Feb. 22 in a private game,  two days later in Jacksonville they are meeting up with the Impact in a public game.
