In a game where starters were afforded rest in part it may have been the weather,
snow and rain to go along with the many early games with the ongoing CCL, NYRB did not look much better than the home team. I got in from the NYCFC game, greeted the dog, put on the TV and explained to the wife as kickoff was happening.

Free agent Alan Gordon has joined the team with a contract guaranteed through this season. Nelson Rodriguez informs that he connects with the midfield well under duress, is excellent in the air things they are lacking, his skills with his mind set and dealing with whether he be a starter or sub has him as a great match. Last season Gordon was with Colorado getting 26 games and3 goals, in 2004 he was the 53rd overall pick in the draft by LA, his 2nd year, he was in 3 playoff games as they took the cup.

He played great in the preseason, combining extremely well with Kaku, now he is in the fold, Amando Moreno has inked an USL contract following being waived by the New York Red Bulls, I fully expect him to get first team time this season. At just 22 he came to them in Jan. following 4 years of play in Mexico, seeing the field in 20 games netting 3 goals and an assist, then off to Dorados de Sinola in July of 2017 getting 5 games and one goal, the hometonw player out of Perth Amboy has a huge upside.
