Every Tues., yes even during this abbreviated and with far fewer teams playing season, a Men's & Women's Player of the Week is to be chosen. This week, both are Goalkeepers, and both underclassmen.

Jr. Alec is from North Carolina, his Tar Heels got going in great style with his 9th blank sheet and 8th in his last 19 starts with a 2-0 win over Duke.

This is going to be big, with just under 40 MLS & USL clubs in attendance from Nov. 13-15 at Swope Soccer Village for this new 2020 College Invitational Combine, a new product of MLS & USL. Attendees will be mostly seniors mixed in with chosen underclassmen involved with many games over this trio of days.

Arkansas soph. fwd., Anna Podojil took last week's honor it was made known today. The Razorback out of Cincinnati played a role in all 4 goals as they beat UK 4-1. She had the initial goal at 8', assisted in the 49', hit for a brace at 54' and as full time came to a close at 90' had her 2nd assist of the match. Alone, her 5 shots surpassed the total of the opponents as she enjoyed her 3rd game with more than one goal in her college experience.

The honor will be announced each week after the 10 a.m. CT deadline for nominees.
