NCFC Drops one to Indy 11

By Sean McCaffery, August 16, 2018

With a handful of former New York Cosmos players, Indy 11 were able to hold off the visitors 3-2 on a last minute goal after giving up a 2-0 lead. The away side had a major advantage in shots at 24-15 but Indy found the mark on a far higher % of their attempts on goal. Starikov opened the scoring in the  7th minute and Guerra closed the books near the closing of the game. NCFC kept pressing and in the 21st minute a goal line clearance by Carlyle held off a goal as the Kandziora shot got under the netminder, Williams. Kandziora again in the 29' just missed the post.
