Things are bigger in Texas as was this win for the visitors who saw Williams get her 40th pro goal and Debhina the 100th team goal.  So far so perfect for the 2019 season as Long Islander Crystal Dunn a defender for the USWNT and Leah Pruitt added the other pair of goals. Lynn is now #4 in the league in goals all time and Pruitt had this, her first pro goal, what a historic game for the team.

Just 6' in, the FIre heated it up as Gaitan took one out of the air from inside the penalty box testing GK Bush and many shots to follow as Nikolic's attempt hit the post back post to Sapong and his attempt from inside the goal box was cleared off the goal line. It was Gaitan again as McCarty fed him at 67' and he then put it through to Nicolic and his bending go on goal was saved by Bush. They had the better of the play for the 2nd half but a late goal at 83' spelt defeat at the feet of the Impact as a Browne cross was deflected past the netminder, 1-0 Montreal.

Three games in a week, 2 wins then an anticlimactic tie with the same side they tied on opening day at Yankee Stadium, now it was 1-1 with Orlando City SC. A pair of adjustments from the last starting XI were Castellanos & Matarrita from Tajouri-Schardi & Ben Sweat. OC came out well as they tried for the early lead and Sands stymied an early change with a great challange on Akindele just at the 8' but that would not last. The next push forward for Saw Nani hit the bottom 90 beating Johnson for the first strike of the game.

Not a surprise but a pleasant result and hoped to be a harbinger for the future as NYRB topped Cincy, 1-0 behind a strike by fellow St. John's Men's Soccer Alum Connor Lade as the team registered their 100th MLS victory at RBA before 16,848.
