The Red Stars blow into town, to face the red hot Courage at 6-2-4 including a 5 game undefeated streak, leading the league in goals, assists, goal differential, shots & shots on goal, very offensive numbers. This marquee match will be shown on ESPN2 with 14 players on either side from the just completed World Cup , this is their 3rd meet this year one a tie, the other a 3-1 Red Star victory. Last game, NC beat the Reign 2-0, July 13 with Lynn WIlliams getting the opening goal at 22', as Kristen Hamilton put the ball into her at her feet, for her 5th of the year.

WIth this being their 4th out of 5 games played away, the road weary Red Bulls are hoping to leave Exploria Stadium with a W. This is the 11th time they match up, with NY holding a slight edge at 5-4-1, but 0-2-1 in their last visits there, and both losses were one goal games, as recently as the March match that saw former Red Bull Kljestan getting the sole goal.

Who'da thunk it, an NFL veteran from the Houston Texans, Arian Foster designed a top for Bayern Munich, just in time for them to don at their arrival in Houston. David Alba commented, " Everyone who knows me knows I love fashion, which is why I created my own line. After speaking with Arian, I realized his approach s similar to my style."

On the strength of a 8 game run of no losses, NCFC is climbing the ranks of their Eastern Conf., with the draw at home against the Charlotte Independence Thurs. eve. Now at the halfway point of the season, they stand at 8-2-7, barely .500 but with no losses at home, over 7 games facing this opponent without a loss. HC Dave Sarachan informed " We had a couple of opportunities to get the second goal." NCFC found their goal early, as just 3' in, Chester took a cross from Durvernay redirected by Ewolo and sent it home from a yard out, all 3 of his goals have come in the last 4 games.
