Tayvon Brown who of late has created quite a buzz has now inked his first pro deal. Tayvon informed "I'm very excitied to sign with New York CIty FC. I'm a Bronx kid and this is my hometown team, so to start my professional career in New York City is a dream come true." There is now a quartet of Academy products on the first team, although one, Joe Scally of Lake Grove is signed elsewhere.

MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps have put a player out to Suwon Samsung Bluewings of the K League 1 in loaning them defender Doneil Henry, at the same time, they will not exercise their option on def?wing Victor "PC" Giro. HC Marc Dos Santos stated "We are thankful for the contributions Donell & PC made on and off the pitch during their time in Vancouver and we wish them all the best". Henry of Ontariao at just 26 now had been signed by way of the MLS Allocation Process in Dec. of 2017.
