Back to the future for NY? A league with one of it's executives straight 'outta NASL has accepted the team into their league today. You will not find it on the League site, nor on that of the team other than in the margin as a tweet from NISA. That they were accepted into the league yet need USSF approval should not be a major obstacle as it would then give the team more ammunition on the Federation if denied.

As we know, Sweat will now be with MIami for their inital MLS season, taken in the expansion draft yesterday. Keaton Parks who got great time this season is returning from his loan to Benfica, hope to se him during the ICC, where we first saw him before NYCFC. Also not having their options pickedup are Danny Bedoya of Queens, I have watched him since his days with St. John's and do find him to be a very good player, Queensboro FC maybe, they should market the heck out of him. Jeff Caldwell, Eric Miller Abdi Mohammed and Ebenezer Ofori were also not re upped.

Following the 2 well attended, yes we also went to these games at RBA, Sky Blue is making a great move, a game changer, for the team to play their 2020 home games there. Marc de Grandpre, RBNY GM stated "We are pleased to welcome Sky Blue back to Red Bull Arena after 2 successful events in 2019.  The team departs the way off the beaten path Yucak FIeld on Rutgers Piscataway campus, for the SSS that Red Bull Arena is, a top notch place. home to many international matches including tomorrow evening. Tammy Murphy, Sky Blue owner rep.

The team started out poorly but did get it together more so towards the end of the season still, the top man last season is gone. Nelson Rodriguez, Chicago Fire President and GM stated "4 years ago, Pauno and the staff accepted the challange to help establish a football culture at the Fire. We are immeasurably thankful." His staff have also been involuntarily separated, from coaches to trainers to equipment managers. A pair spared are Eddie Rock Sr. Dir. Soccer Ops. & Alex Boler Sr. Mgr. Team Ops.

From Lake Grove to the Bundesliga and Borussia Monchengladbach, having never once played for NYCFC in MLS. He will remain with the MLS side for the 2020 season, then in Jan. 2021, pop the pond. Joe stated "I was very excited when I heard the news about the transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach. As a kid you always want to play in Europe and in one of the best leagues in the world. I couldn't be happier. It's always the same for us, to finish first in the league and win MLS Cup."  Joe is the premier player out of the NYCFC academy sold to a major European Club.
