As he explained, "the way they run their Academy and the way they have that residency program is amazing. All these kids ae together 24/7,going to school, playing together, living together. His team, hoped to be a marquee franchise in MLS has hardly lived up to that billing, they may very well lead the league in Head Coaches, some believe they do lead the league in stadia. This Head of Sport for NYRB has been active, some of it out of necessity. The team, the game and the world around him and his team have been caught in a whirlwind for all but the entirety of his term at the helm, there may be some calm coming in some of these aspects soon.

Together with the Asians in the MLS Employee Resource Group, the league released this statement, reiterating their backing of those from the regions. This is a respnse to such horrific events that have taken a nasty uptick in the wake of the Corona virus.
Now and always, MLS advocates for social justice and is dedicated to combatting racism and xenophobia. Attacks on the Asian community, while not new, have been on the rise since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The increasing violent hate crimes against members of the Asian community are abhorrent and must come to an end.

The team is set to finish the leagues quarantine March 8 then they are off to Florida until the 27th. While in Orlando they will have many friendlies beginning with the the Fire on the 13th, a Saturday. Next up, on the 18th will be their next game facing an unknown opponent at this time, following that they are off to St. Petersburg for the balance of the camp.
At Al Lang Stadium, the home of the USL Rowdies, they have a game on the 24th and again on the 27th facing Nashville.
