$100,000 came in as the #10 pick in the MLS SuperDraft went to RBNY, then, this WIndy CIty side selected University of the Pacific player Jonathan Jimenez with the 26th pick of the first round, he is a defender & midfielder. While at the Univ., he started all 21 games he saw time in over the last pair of seasons, getting 8 goals with 5 assists. The first hat trick in the modern era for the TIgers, 2018 was secured by him in three minutes facing Uni. of Portland then #11, in a 3-2 come from behind win.

Nick Cushing, a familiar name to soccer fans has been tabbed as an asst. to new NYCFC HC Ronny Deila's staff. A half dozen years after joining Man CIty Women Foot Ball Club as HC, set up in a great position to establish him has a top skipper in that side of the game. Still at just 35, he took many a trophy in his term with City, not limited to the 2016 WSL & FA WSL Manager of the Year, he also brought home the FA WSL Cup in 2014, the FA Women's Cup & FA WSL Cup in 2016-'17 & 2018-'19.  He also brought them to the UEFA Women's Champions League semi.

We first saw him play in the ICC a few years ago, now Fisco Texas product, Keaton Parks will be with NYCFC for the near future. This permanent transfer from a very important club in Portugal, SL Benfica runs against the typical thoughts of MLS being a retirement league as he is just 22. Given his age, I have not a clue as to why he is not called into at least the U-23 USMNT camps on a more regular basis. Watching him play throughout last season, his breakthrough game was at my alma mata, St. John's in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup facing NCFC, leaves me scratching my head on this.

After an exhaustive multi national quest, the MLS team in Vancouver has secured their CEO, Mark Pannes, he will lord over all business sides of the team and answer straight to the owner.

Team co-owner & exec. chair, Jeff Mallett informed "Today we are very pleased to add a skilled and experienced new member to our executive leadership team. Together, Mark & Axel will lead the club to achive its goals on and off the pitch."

The new look, new coach, new again home stadium Chicago Fire now have a new DIr. of Performance in Ben Donachie from AFC Bournemouth of the English Premier League where he had been for 8 years as the Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach. During his time there he was in charge of the strength development and rehabilitation for both the first team and academy players. Over his years with Bournemouth, they were promoted twice over in three seasons, 2013 had them into the Football League Championship a return there for the first time since 1990.
