In the recent past, the local NWSL team, Sky Blue have been adding players to their stable, today they let a veteran and a USWNT player go to Chicago. Young Mallory Pugh and a player they had for half a dozen years, Sarah Woldmoe have blown out of town to the Windy City. Yes, this deal yields SBFC as many as 3 first round draft picks, a pair in the upcoming 2021 Draft and a conditional one in the 2022, yes it is for  players, 7 INTERNATIONAL SLOTS IN 2021 & '22, but you are giving up 2 known entities for the immediate but still future. I am not so sure this sits well with me.

Yes, Ronald Matarrita has left, NYCFC will gain at most $600,000 in GAM for him, sold on the cheap if you ask me. He was quite the dynamic back line player for the MLS club in NYC, an international player, so some cache has also gone off to the mid west.

Olympique Lyonnais is atop the standings for the whole of the fast winter play stoppage follwoing their 3-0 win over Nantes Wed. LOSC & PSG were also victorious, creating a log jam at the top as they are just 1 point behind OL.

Their draft pick out of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, Patrick Seagrist, has gone south, in return the team will get a 3rd round pick in the upcoming version. Inter Miami, home to Dylan, brother of Sean Nealis and a draft pick of last year himself will also send $50,000 in GAM should Patrick hit performance levels.

The team's 2020 Defender of the Year is back as Gina has a new deal, it is a one year contract with a 2nd year option.

Lewandowski informed "I am excited to sign another year with Sky Blue FC. This club has a vision and a bright future. I am grateful for the opportunity to keep playing close to home and build the game in the Tri-State area."
