Expansion Draft: This is all about Austin FC, we were joined by their Head Coach late last week as we had a Zoom interview with Dwayne De Rosario, and Josh Wolff was good enough to join us in celebrating this milestone achievement for his teammate. The draft will be carried by the Facebook of Soccer Long Island Magazine from 6 p.m. ET tomorrow. Austin is able to chose from 160 players, a maximum of 5, fully 10 teams are unable to have a player picked as they had one so chosen with two teams entering in 2020 and made their selections.

Covid has yet again reared it's ugly head. This virus which has fouled things up for the better part of the year has once again impacted soccer in the USA, NYCFC has had 3 players test as having the virus, causing them to travel on game day, not yesterday as expected. They need a big win facing Tigres to stay in the games kickoff is set for 10:30 p.m. ET on FS2 & TUDN. After one positive test, all players and staff then took the RPOC testing yielding another pair of positives, NYCFC & Concacaf came to the agreement to travel game day.

From the home stadium of Orlando City FC, the Impact one of four MLS teams left in these games look to beat CD Olimpia of Honduras by a wide enough margin to advance to the next round. The game is tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET on RDS, TSN, 98.5 fm & TSN 690.

Tuesday will be yet another expansion draft in the MLS, each team is able to protect a dozen, those how lost player(s) in the most recent one do not have players eligible do be selected. Red Bull will further have another trio of players protected.

From Torino of the Primavera to RBNYII on Sept. 22 then today with NYRB, Luca has done some moving of late. Born in NYC, he counts home as Pesaro Italy.

Kevin Thelwell, RBNY Head of Sport told, "We're pleased to add Luca to the first team. He's a good, young talent with a range of experiences that have helped him develop his game physically and mentally. We like what we've seen from him the last few months and think his game fits well with our style of play."
