Retirement, players released, players resigned by others, but now a trio of Bulls are back to the Arena for 2020 and beyond. 'Keeper Ryan Meara, Fwd. Brian White & Def. Amro Tarek are back in the fold. Sporting Director Denis Hamlett had this to say, "We are pleased to reach agreements with Ryan, Brian & Amro. As we look to improve our team with new additions, it is also important to make sure we solidify our existing roster and build out our core. We know the value of all 3 players and we expect all 3 to be contributors for us in 2020 and beyond."

The first order of business for Gerog Heitz will be to head the hunt for a head coach, his other responsiblities will be to oversee all aspects of Fire football operations, first team and Academy decisions. He has been at this sort of thing for nearly 20 years now and is a well thought of soccer executive, now he awaits his work visa.

It is now known when NYCFC will have their matches facing Costa Rica's AD San Carlos in the 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 games. An exciting time for both teams as they make their debuts in this hotly contested series of games. By virtue of taking the top spot in the Eastern COnference of MLS for the 2019 season, NYCFC punched their ticket, the Ticos did so by way of taking the Costa Rica Primera Division Clausura top spot for the first time in team history.

Conor Donovan, one of the more successful products of the NCFC Youth Academy is now back home in the triangle as central defender, Conor Donovan is back with his local side. The native of Fuquay-Varina at just 23 has already seen time with both Orlando CIty & the Houston Dynamo of MLS and with USL Championship teams Pittsburgh Riverhounds, OCSCB & Rio Grande Valley FC, now he will bring lessons learned there back home.
