NY Cosmos Schedule Updates

A few changes, do not worry we have it all covered for you. The US Open Cup, their rules stipulate that if a league game conflicts with their game , you move the league game. Thusly the Cosmos B games is now on APril 29 at Boston FC in the Harry Della Russo Stadium. Erik Stover, New york Cosmos COO informs " We want to thank Boston City and the NPSL for helpong us resolve this situation." A quick listing of the games.

FC Bayern Confirms US and 2018 Audi Summer Tour

It will be another highly RELEVANT soccer summer as Relevant Sports again brings their International Champions Cup out with German powerhouse Bayern Munich.  Bayern will have two games on the east coast, July 25 with the champions of Italy, Juventus July 25 at 7pm, then again July 28 @ 6pm facing the top team in England, Manchester City and their enigmatic coach Pep Guardiola  at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Just announced by the home team, Chicago Fire is that their game with the Columbus Crew will now be played on Aug. 23 @ 6p.m. CT, broadcast on ESPN+ and Univision Deportes Chicago 1200AM. 

Also the FIre game with the 'Quakes on June 2 is to kick off at 7:30 CT, and will now also be on ESPN+.

Mallory Weggermann Paralympic swimmer to be honored at RBA

As a sign of support for spinal cord injury research, the 4th annual Wings for Life Match at RBA is being hosted as NYRB take on the Montreal Impact. Mallory Weggmann is a 2x Paralympic swimmer and a WIngs for Life Ambassador, as she has brought raising awareness and funds for such reseach to the forefront, thusly her being honored for such efforts pre-game. She was the 2011 Espy winner as "Best Female Athlete with a Disability".

NYRB Autism Awareness Match v Chicago Fire April 21 @3:30 p.m.

Autism Speaks will get $3.oo of each ticket sold for this day as the team welcomes families impacted by Autism. "our club, including players, coaches and front office staff is dedicated to making this afternon a memorable one for all families impacted" stated GM Marc de Grandpre. Last season RBNY were the first team in MLS establishing a Sensory Room at their home field and it is a permanent installation, it was set up with the Family Services group in Autism Speaks.
