DC HC, Dave Kasper is happy to have settled the transaction, feeling they now have a skilled defender who has great qualities heading their way, bringing with him a lot of history of first team and international games. Fifteen minutes of play into the 2nd half saw the 'Caps draw first blood as the 17 year old Russell Teibert found Kei with a crossing ball to the head. Just 17 minutes later another new 'Cap, Mexican int'l Efrain Juarez played a ball on the right to Techera as Davies stayed inside and put the left footed shot home.
