Luciano Acosta now has his initial assist of 2018 to go with one goal over 2 starts. Chris Durkin in his first MLS game got the start and complete game in under his belt. 2nd generation DC player, Ian Harkes made his first start for the year. David Ousted made 4 saves, a personal high with United. Chris Odoi-Atsem got in 12 minutes as a late sub and his first minutes.

The home field of Louisville City was left unplayable by field conditions from inclement weather and had to be postponed. The Saturday game at 3p.m. was to be the first meeting of the two, an anouncement is expected soon for the rescheduled date. NCFC is next up against Richmond Kickers in VA March 31 @ 5p.m. at City Stadium.

Colorado opened up the scoring against Long Islander Tim Mellia at just 5 minutes on the MLS leading 'keeper of 2017. Behind the strength of MLS leader Felipe Gutierrez with his 4th goal and the late strike by Diego Rubio in stoppage time they squeaked out a point as ex NYCFC player Khiry Shelton logged in a complete game. We already put up some images and interviews on our Facebook page from early in the game. Seems as if they have already found midseason form with Robles getting yet another clean sheet and Jesse Marsch stating at the press conference that after every 4th one they get a pizza a beer post game, the locker room had no pizza when I arrived. THe defense on this day would also help the offense as Long Islander Tim Parker got his first assist as a Red Bull, when BWP put the ball in all he did was point back to Tim acknowledging the help.
