No, not a retraction from them getting one from the EPL as well yesterday, this midfielder should be far more familiar to MLS fans and was the other party in the Tim Parker deal, Felipe. Having watched him for the last few years live, he is a firery player that you love to have on your team and hate to face, lead the team in both getting and giving fouls belying his small stature and being a very physical player. The terms were already laid out in the story of Parker so I won't list them again.

Alex Tambakis has come on board, thought to be a vital piece and that with this new crop of backstops given the history of great ones they have had the challange is there, he is brought in to vie for the #1 spot with Guerrero, his USL experience should be key and HC Colin Clarke is pumped to have him at this point setting up a healthy challange for the 2 at the starters position. Alex is also energized with his new team, it's trememdous soccer staff, top flight skilled team and great supporters he arrives with high hopes in applying his deligence and past to help this new side.

DC paid out $100K in GAM  with a 2019 International spot and received a 2018 International spot from Portland.

In an increasing trend leaue wide with a similar 1.5 exchange rate, DC receives $140K in TAM for $100K in GAM. from Sporting KC. TAM is money from the league to help add or keep high value players as well as buy down the budget of a player ove the maximum per year. SInce '15 teams got $100K yearly going up to $800K in '16, $1.2mil in '17 and '18 to go with $2.8mil more of optional discretionaly funds in '18 & '19. GAM is money yearly to teams on top of its player budget.

As previously hinted at on our Facebook page, TIm Parker has now been acquired by Red Bull for a King's Ransom. He will join fellow St. John's Soccer Alum, Connor Lade on the back line at RBA. The money all of it being TAM is broken down as follows, 2018, $225,000 then 2019, $275,000. This 13th overall draft choice in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft played in 32 games last year getting his first points with a goal and assist both. #2 league wide with 86 headed clearances, #5 with 73 arials won he also led the 'Caps in minutes, touches and successful passes.
