While Heber continues to rehab a knee injury it is time to say Oi! to their newest player, out of Vasco da Gama, he is signed for quite some time, until 2026, Talles Magno.

During the 2019 U-17 World Cup which of course his Brazil side took home while hosting, he has since been selected as one of Goal's top 50 wonderkids in world football.

The Red Bulls left rainy NY for southern California where it never rains or so the songs go. Today a nationally televised game starting at 5:30 p.m. ET on FS1 with 2 original MLS teams where NYRB lead 20-17-8, in LA, the home team is tops at 9-7-5.

With this being just the 2nd game for both, LA has 3 points while NY zero, the last 5 games have been even in Cason at 2-2-1, last winner, NY 3-2 on April 28, 2018, Royer getting a pair of his trio in that game facing them.

Our friend and Media Darling, Ally Melendez is now also with the New York Red Bulls, we hope to be there, tomorrow for her first day of work.

What will she do: she is the new in-stadium host for home games.

Was it an honest mistake, a book keeping snafu? The investigation by MLS into the inking of Blaise Matuidi continues to see if this addition was in step with the leagues League Roster & Budget Rules of 2020. Already this probe has shown that Miami was not in step with these rules. Last year, Matuidi, set as a TAM player, but his pay was above that threshold, making him a DP, thusly they violated the DP Limit with 3 plus him on the season.

In the off-season, the team bought out one of their DP's, Matias Pellegrini, putting them into accord with the DP number for 2021.

Yes, I had to read part of this a few times over. In an email received late yesterday, the Red Bulls made it known that they are of course working hand-in-hand with MLS to to finally set their way of handling fans at RBA, they open v SKC on the 17th at 8 p.m. ET. In appreciation of the health and safety of all involved being the highest of priorities and in staying in line with the local laws and guidelines, the plan will set their procedures in place for all to be in attendance.
