While Heber continues to rehab a knee injury it is time to say Oi! to their newest player, out of Vasco da Gama, he is signed for quite some time, until 2026, Talles Magno.

During the 2019 U-17 World Cup which of course his Brazil side took home while hosting, he has since been selected as one of Goal's top 50 wonderkids in world football.

Magno told, "I'm very happy to be joining New York City FC and I am committed, dedicated and ready to work. This is a big Club near the top of the table and that convinced me to come here. We are going to work together to accomplish big things. I want to show my talent to the Club and this league. It's a league that is very well spoken of in Brazil. I will give my best effort and fight for the team."

Magno comes as a young Designated Player, an effort to get younger quality, players into the MLS, and has NYCFC has done well in inking this player to a long term deal.

From Rio, he first hit the first team for Vasco at the young age of 16 following his ascension in their academy system, making him the youngest player of this century to play for this historic side. He has 61 games overall, 49 in the top tier of Brazilian soccer with 5 goals.

NYCFC Sporting Dir. David Lee informed "We're delighted to bring Talles to New York City FC. He is a talented young player who has already amassed a significant amount of First team minutes at a high level for someone his age and someone we believe has the potential to play at the highest level of football. He was a key part of the Brazil U-17 team who went on to win he U-17 World Cup."

NYCFC HC, Ronny Delia told "We're really excited to sign Talles and are ready to welcome him into out dressing room. Talles will be a great addition to our group of forwards. We do not want to put too much pressure on his shoulders right away. We know he's a player that can come in and help us win football games."
