The Young Guns of NYRB won a western style shootout with Dallas in getting all 3 goals before just 12,263 in Frisco. Kyle Duncan picked up a yellow in first half added time, this unsporting behavior seems to now be an epidemic. In a game of firsts, it was the first road win for NY and conversely the first home loss for Dallas. Casseres Jr was assited by Ivan just 11' in, the 2nd half saw Nealis get his first MLS goal from Murillo then White, his 2nd from Fernandez at 85'. FC Dallas out shot NY big time 15-9 with 6 on goal to the quartet from NY.

Another win for NYCFC this one out on the left coast before almost 23,000 Galaxy faithful. With a trio of adjustments to his starting lineup from the win by the same score in Montreal with Mararrita, Rocha and Sands getting the go from the go to help get 3 away wins in a row, quite the change from the early season winless times. Starting with 3 in the back helped the first quater hour to be all NYCFC with Ring, Moralez & Tinnerholm playing a big role with that. Ring tried to first get on the sheet at just 17'.

They opened the game with their force of last year, Connor Lade was involved in his 2nd goal in as many games as he assisted Rzatkowski, his 1st of the year and 3rd in MLS, after a wall pass via the defender, who first timed the pass at the hour mark. NYRB struck first of the foot of Tarek, it took some time but Zlatan would have none of it as he played a role in assiting Antuna with a great ball across the box then 4 minutes later getting his own goal. Etienne got the winning goal in the 67', not long after being subbed in for the first win v LA at RBA since 2013.

Still with twice as many ties as wins, NYCFC earned half as many wins as they had all season in their last 90 minutes of play, at times they have played more than well enough to win but failed to do so, this had each of the local NY teams win, a great soccer weekend for the local fans. The first game James Sands did not dress but local player from Queens Danny Bedoya did. Moralez had a hand or more accurately, a foot in each goal as he assisted one after getting his own early in the first half at 6'. Again there were may cautions issued for Unsporting Behavior a pair for each team.
