He is here on a 1 year loan with an option to purchase. Thought to be a top player in the center of the field, having competed at the top level as per HC of Vancouver Carl Robinson, facing off agains the top England sides he enjoys moving forward having quite the motor, and is at his peak. Over the decade in England he played in over 200 games, 78 of those in the EPL.

DC United gets TAM from Sporting KC

In an increasing trend leaue wide with a similar 1.5 exchange rate, DC receives $140K in TAM for $100K in GAM. from Sporting KC. TAM is money from the league to help add or keep high value players as well as buy down the budget of a player ove the maximum per year. SInce '15 teams got $100K yearly going up to $800K in '16, $1.2mil in '17 and '18 to go with $2.8mil more of optional discretionaly funds in '18 & '19. GAM is money yearly to teams on top of its player budget.

Tim Parker comes home for $500k, Felipe & and International Spot

As previously hinted at on our Facebook page, TIm Parker has now been acquired by Red Bull for a King's Ransom. He will join fellow St. John's Soccer Alum, Connor Lade on the back line at RBA. The money all of it being TAM is broken down as follows, 2018, $225,000 then 2019, $275,000. This 13th overall draft choice in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft played in 32 games last year getting his first points with a goal and assist both. #2 league wide with 86 headed clearances, #5 with 73 arials won he also led the 'Caps in minutes, touches and successful passes.

NJ based Provident Bank & Red Bull have come toegther with the bank being named the "Official Banking Partner of the New York Red Bulls", additionally Provident wil get the naming rights to the Luxury suite levels 4 & 5 @ RBA, now named "Provident Bank Suite Lounge". In being a marketing partner, Provident gets many marketing and promotional vehicles to go with access to VIP hospitality experiences as they will partake in comunity developmental progams with the team.

NYCFC, NYC, NYU join to use CIty-Owned radio outlets and help Students

This effort, with 3 local powerhouses will have all 34 games this season broadcast live on NYC owned radio outlet, WNYE 91.5 FM. In addition to this there will be a weekly talk show solely about soccer, Soccer City.  I hope the Portland TImbers, long in Soccer CIty USA do not take umbrage.

Sporting KC re ups with a trio

Tim Mellia the reinging 'keeper of the year and from Long Island has a new 3 year deal, Ike Opara a 2 year agreement and Danile Salloi 2 years with options for 2020 & 2021. The 3 did well in 2017 as SKC again took the Lamar Hunt US Open title and made the MLS playoffs for a team record 7th straight season. Opara was also the best at his spot for this past season as Salloi in the inital complete season with the team struck for 6 goals. In his 3rd season, the 31 year old Mellia was Goalkeeper of the year and MLS Best XI.

Sporting KC teams up with Toyota

A first before the first game as SKC names Toyota their inital First Team partner for this and going until the 2020 season. Joined together since 2016 this includes naming rights for Toyota Plaza at Children's Mercy Park, the Drive Time videos on SportingKC.com, cross promos with all 8 local Toyota dealerships and being th official vehicle of the team. In calling KC a key market for Toyota and that they are more than pleased to better their union with a group such as SKC, so in touch with the beat of the city and its doing, sWylon Harper GM for the KC regional office was very happy.

NYCFC making news again

USL affiliate side, San Antonio FC has transferred Sebastien Ibeagha after like Cadwell spending pre season in Florida, LA & Mexico. This 26 year old back line player had been with USMNT U-20's, is the USL Defender of the Year and became the 9th new player since last season. He is very energized with it being great to arrive out of the USL in San Antonio and to be in preseason with NYCFC. Quickly learning of the quality of his teammates, and how tight of a team they are joining preseason and welcoming others in and receive guidance made it seemless.

NCFC takes in a Chivas youth player on loan

As NCFC continues its cast its net far and wide for new players, today they caught  Daniel Rios who spent the last 2 years on loan as well with Coras de Tepic in Mexico for all of 2016 then the first half of 2017 before departing for Alletico Zacatepec. Racking up the minutes to the tune of 2600+ over 38 games in the 2nd division in Mexico, he also filled the net with 17 goasl. Before the loans he had to tries with Chiva 2/24/15 in a 1-0 win and the reserve team in 2016 in 16 games in the 3rd level of Mexican soccer.
