Word is Reynoso is soon to be Northward bound, UTD's HC Heath stated in a call that he looked forward to it coming to fruition, "It's something that we would like to do, and I think it's something thats getting closer, If we can't, then we'll have to move on. We really need to have a definitive answer one way or the other. We think he's an extremely talented player. But it's been going on a long time now."

The talks are well into the process but he is only with Red Bull on loan from LASK for whom he had 7 goals and a tio of assists helping them to a 5th place finish this past season.

Jonathan Gonzalez of Monterrey is thought to be a target of the United. He came on as a sub earlier this week in a 1-0 loss to Leon, his last game there? As per Fernando Cevallos a local scribe there, this is coming to pass and trumor has it that the deal may be done this week. It may very well be a loan with the option to buy his contract for Atlanta. Diego Medina of TUDN also put this news out. Even Herculez Gomez got in on the fun that it is between here and Celta Vigo of La Liga in Spain as the player had stated this last game would be his last with the Rayados.

FC Dallas Looking to France

A report out of MLS has FC Dallas looking to get Yoan Court, a mifielder on a free transfer as his contract with Brest has come to a close. At 30 he would lend a good deal of experience to the young roster assembled of so many of their Academy products. Over 23 games this season he had 3 goals and 7 assists, this would be his first pro team outside of France, others from there, notably Nantes are said to be on his trail as well. Most of his time was not with the Ligue 1 of Brest but in 2, where over 219 games he had a great balance with 31 each of goals and assists.

MLS sets a Structure for Academies

There is now a fully formed governance set up to "promote collaboration, innovation and input with representation from MLS academies and other elite youth academies." It is complete with 4 levels of governance, with MLS and other academies in each of the groups. 

The top is the Executive Committee, just below them are the Working Groups followed by Chairs and lastly Divisions.

This will be made of elite year round games and player ID efforts, coaching educational opportunities and more to build their culture.

NYRB add Yearwood from Brentford FC

The 20 year old midfield player is to be finalized Aug. 12 when the next FIFA window opens, once he passes his medical and gets the paperwork done, he will take up an international roster spot as a Young DP.

This LB resident is off to Swarthmore and earned this high honor base upon his performance in HS and his stellar community service. He was not a Marine, as he went to Regis HS where he was a National Merit Finalist & achived the Order of the Owl, making him top dog academic wise there, each of the years in his HS career. Playing for the team he was the captain of the 2x NYC Champs and was chosen for the All-City Select Team.
