NY continued it's hot start to the season, winning by a field goal and a safety, 5-0 with an even larger crowd than their home opener, all goals coming in the 2nd half. 2nd generation pro and international player from El Salvador, Junior Burgos struck 2x as he made his NPSL debut with his pair of free kick strikes, he was selected at the Man of the Match before 5.121 frenzied fans at Mitchel. Joining Junior on the score sheet were Darwin Espinal, Charlier Ledula & Joey Sanchez.

Still with twice as many ties as wins, NYCFC earned half as many wins as they had all season in their last 90 minutes of play, at times they have played more than well enough to win but failed to do so, this had each of the local NY teams win, a great soccer weekend for the local fans.
