Fans and a 5 member group are set to name the MVP from these games that will close out around 9 p.m. ET as the US take on Argentina kicking off at 7 on FS1 & TUDN. Last year, the title was taken by Spain's Alexia Putellas. My pick, should she play and of course keep yet another clean sheet would be the US GK Naeher. 

The committee:

They have been doing a great many Zoom based media opportunities, around the SheBelieves Cup, most with well under 24 hours notice, making it difficult to schedule them in. Not only was I able to be in on this one, I was lucky enough to be called upon, quite the rarity. Many questions were put out about the kneeling of the team, in as much as I am against it, I will not touch on it, it was brought up that the team is now moving from the protest stage to the work stage.

This is not intended to touch on every thing that was of note during the game, I was not 100% attentive, I am sure omitted things that I did observe and my handwriting got worse in the 2nd half but here it is:

Early in the game there was a free kick from just beyond the area, it was struck on into the wall, not a bad tactic from a distance but from so close any error and it is a goal, none will jump and if it deflects anywhere but forward it is easily handled or out of play, this is what happened hit the wall staying far from the goal.
