We were at their game last night in RBA the morning, we see they have sent off  a 2020 international spot for $50,000 in GAM. Though they are not having the best of seasons, this may be a good thing, Orland City is doing well and may use this as a way to add a key player for at least the balance of the year and gets some money into the coffers of Montreal.

Like their compatriots, the Montreal Impact, Toronto have settled in the Tri-State area for their home games, they are at UCONN where today they host the Red Bulls at 7:30 p.m. ET on MSG, MSG GO & New York Red Bulls Radio. NY controls the series overall with a 16-9-7 record as TFC lead at home with their 7-4-5, no not a neutral site, this is a home game for them. The home team leads the visitors by 14 points, 23 v 37 and top the Conference as well. Over the last 4 games NY has taken a trio of them, each shutouts, and a 6-3 goal differential.

Yes, it will be mano a mano, hermano a hermano as 2 Irishmen, brothers even go at it in Hispanic Heritage Month, "The Battle for the 'Pequas" is today, a full scale family feud, ok enough of that. Pregame rain and wind are expected to give way to high 60's throughout the game.

The first ever pro soccer team in the most diverse borough in the nation has done the reveal of their logo with plenty of history behind it. The team will play in the USL Championship, the highest of level in the USL system and Div. 2 in the USA starting in 2022. The team informs that their first team players are to be drawn from top international recruits, select BQFC Academy players and local NY based players. I would expect sometime next year, they will begin to sign players and then loan them out.

Gerhard Struber comes to RBNY, following a bakers dozen of years as a pro and some time in youth development as well as previous head coaching  experience with FC Liefering, Barnsley FC & Wolfsberger FC. A fee, not disclosed but thought to be in the millions was paid to Barnsley FC to get him out of his contract with them, he will take his new job upon the securing of his US work visa.
