At regular intervals, the league keeps on judging the effect of the Coronavirus, not limited to the impact it is having on their 2020 season. Despite wanting to get back and play in Mid-May, it is not expecteed, due to the advice of federal and local public health officials. The hope still is getting in as many games as is possible, now, there are still enough dates to get in the whole of the schedule, they are aware that soon there may not be. Every day more is known from the medical professionals, MLS anticipates more information as time moves on as to when they may resume.
