Inter Miami CF Fixes the Books

Was it an honest mistake, a book keeping snafu? The investigation by MLS into the inking of Blaise Matuidi continues to see if this addition was in step with the leagues League Roster & Budget Rules of 2020. Already this probe has shown that Miami was not in step with these rules. Last year, Matuidi, set as a TAM player, but his pay was above that threshold, making him a DP, thusly they violated the DP Limit with 3 plus him on the season.

From East Rockaway to David Villa for Leo Guarino

By Sean McCaffery, March 31, 2021

It took us many months over two teams to get the elusive interview with the son of a past co-worker. His father had been speaking of his son as being a great player, always met with a jaundiced eye, I first saw him play before people from Roma, under age and undersized for his age, he more than held his own. Fast forward father and son are making a 4 hour drive a few times a week to Whippany, quite the commute for the New York Red Bull Academy, with high praise coming out of it, a short stint with NYCFC before they dropped that age group.
