Zerboni Permitted to Drive Sky Blue in 2020

McCall Zerboni has come to terms with Sky Blue the day before tickets for the team go on sale, it is for one year, with a year option.

She informed "I'm excited to be starting a new journey with Sky Blue. This club has been in the professional game since I began my career and I'm honored to now join their side. I'm a highly motivated individual who wants to make an impact and decorate the team"

At 33 she came up from the Courage after their title taking season on Jan. 10 after a trio of years there in which they took the NWSL Shield in each and every one and 2 straight league titles. McCall has 147 regular season games, with 12,369 minutes, a dozen goals and half a dozen assists. 2018 saw her on the NWSL Team of the Month 4 times in a row, and an MVP finalist. 2017 & '18 she was tabbed for the NWSL Best XI.

Coach Freya Combe told "Adding a player with McCall's talent and track record of success is a huge positive for us. We're looking forward to her coming in and competing every day to help make  us a bettter team. 

GM Alyse LaHue stated "McCall brings a tremendous amount of experience from her 'winning' NWSL career. Her leadership, personality and grit are fantastic elements to mix into our roster as we look to progress our club this year."
