All aboard the hype train! Qualification is (nearly) complete, the official matchball has been revealed, the group stage draw has taken place and it’s safe to say that FIFA World Cup™ season is officially upon us. In this edition of the TIFO, we’re thinking of one thing and one thing only. 

To start, here is the result of today’s draw, including (almost) all qualified teams and who they will square off against in November/December.

Two continental playoffs and a few UEFA playoffs (postponed due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine) remain. The final three spots could belong to any of the following teams:

• Ukraine vs Scotland
  • Wales vs winner of Ukraine/Scotland (Group B)
• Costa Rica vs New Zealand (Group E)
• UAE vs Australia
  • Peru vs winner of UAE/Australia (Group D)
