Will the NYRB continue to feast on Home Cooking over the next 26 days?

By Sean McCaffery, April 28, 2019

Not a surprise but a pleasant result and hoped to be a harbinger for the future as NYRB topped Cincy, 1-0 behind a strike by fellow St. John's Men's Soccer Alum Connor Lade as the team registered their 100th MLS victory at RBA before 16,848. This win brought a run of 5 games without a win to a halt and they hope to build a fortress now of their home as it has been in the recent past especially.  5 of the 6 cautions issued, a trio for each team, were for Unsporting Behavior, is there a growing lack of discipline among the players?  Connor with 120 MLS games now under his belt found the net for the 2nd time in his career. Ironman Luis Robles had his first blank sheet between the pipes, the 64th of his stellar MLS career, now tied with Pat Onstead for 8th with 64. Aaron Long now has 100 games overall. Chris Armas is at a great 14-7-5, 10-3 at home, yet those not in the know are calling for his dismissal, those are great numbers, yes some poor games and performances are there, he has owned them, not having those would make his numbers truly amazing. April has been a winning month for the Bulls with a 43-37-21 recored, 139 goals for with 122 against.
