The match between Venezuela and Brazil was an exciting encounter, with both teams fighting for a place in the 2026 World Cup. Venezuela achieved a valuable 1-1 draw against Brazil, thanks to the outstanding performance of their goalkeeper Rafael Romo, who saved a penalty to Vinicius Jr. The Brazilian team dominated ball possession, with 66.6% of the ball, but Venezuela defended with determination and managed to tie the score in the 46th minute, thanks to a goal from Telasco Segovia. The match was full of emotions, with clear opportunities for both teams. Vinicius Jr. hit the woodwork in the 22nd minute, and then Raphinha scored Brazil's first goal in the 43rd minute. The expulsion of Alexander González in the 89th minute added tension to the match, but Venezuela managed to maintain the tie until the end. This result is a great achievement for Venezuela, which remains hopeful of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
