Vancouver inks a Draft Pick

The #17 pick in the 2018 Superdraft has come to terms with the team. Justin Fiddes is now on the roster out of the University of Washington. The defender started 62 of 70 games for the Huskies getting 10 assists and one goal, earning a 2nd team All Far-West Region and Honorable Mention All- Pacific 12 conf. honors last year to go with having spent some time at the US Soccer Residency Program in Fl in 2011. The fastest in the MLS combine he turned in a time of 3.84 seconds over 30 meters. HC Carl Robinson had nothing but praise for the young quick backline player displaying his upside in preseason camp. Thought to have a terrific disposition, desire to acquire more knowledge and put the time in it is great to have him offically vie for a position. Fiddes started 2 of his 3 games in presason linking up with the 'Caps in HI & CA. The Atlanta native at 5'11 has a laundry list of collegiate awards, was raised in San Diego as a stadout with Cathedral Catholic High and he represented the storied Surf soccer program, at the DA.
