Another sellout in Vancouver watched a scoreless tie with the Galaxy in a Western Conference match up. As ever, ex Red Bull Felipe was active from his midfield position to no avial yet the tie brought the 'Caps to a tie atop the Conference with 7 points for 4 games. This tie pushed the 'Caps undefeated home record to a total of 11 games in MLS a team best. LA had a great chance with Boateng in a break but the GK, Marinovic forced him wide. Kamara who was out last week in the 'Caps sole loss had a terrific try but also was wide of the mark. Marinovic with only 1 save on the night stabbed a crossing ball in the waning minutes to preserve the shutout. For his efforts, Felipe was named Man of the Match.
