USWNT takes on China

This summer the matches will take place June 7  at Rio TInto in UT at 7p.m. MT on FS1 and June 12 at FirstEnergy Field OH, 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The game at the RioT is the intial one since the Royals were established in the NWSL. Meeting for 2 finals in the '90's  a 2-1 win by the home team in '96 for the first Olympic Gold  then the famous 99'ers took the World Cup in penalties.  The 2nd most common opponent for the USWNT, with 56 games, not meeting in a final since '15 when China bested them in the last game for Abby Wambach. This game, the last of the VIctory Tour was the end of a 104 unbeaten run at home for the US. The US came back later in 2015, winning in the quarters of the World Cup by way of a header from Carli Lloyd.
