Today, this national league let it be known that although the number of games will reamain unchanged at 34 for its' 2nd year, they will now take 33 weeks to play these matches. Wednesday during the USL Board of Governors Mid-Seanon Meetings held in Atlanta this decision was ratified.
USL Prez. Jake Edwards had this to say, "The league's continued growth and addition of numerous outstanding ownership groups has brought the opportunity to continue the expansion of the season". He further informed it would allow for more games on Saturday nights and help push the attendance which sest a record this season.
The next season is anticipated to begin the weekend of Mar. 8-10 ending the weekend of Oct. 18-20. WIth the Cup being contested the weekend of Nov. 14-18.
