Leaders from 3 different industries came together to the host city of the onging USC convention at Hampden Elementary. Announce by USC Pres. Jeff Farnsworth, a busy man with the NWSL Draft and all else at the largest coaching convention on the planet. US Soccer Foundation & CEO Ed Foster-Simeon who has been to a few min pitch dedications in NYC, Visit Baltimore Pres. & CEO Al Hutchinson & Chief of Staff, Baltimore City Public Schools Alison Perkins-Cohen were all present at the press held at the venue for the convention, the Baltimore Convention Center.

This smaller field, designed by the Foundation and Musco, of course will be a lighted space, allowing for extended hours of play for young and old alike to avail themselves to the field. Benches are to be installed for the games to be viewed, secure space for gear, and a long-term warranty to do away with maintenance costs. All told this new system will allow for a smaller but flexible unit with a quick, no worry set up. Given these advantages, its ideal for such urban areas and others where space is tight while affording a safer locale for play for kids and others to be.

Lynn Berlin-Manuel, CEO of USC stated " Baltimore has long been one of our most popular host cities for the annual United Soccer Coaches Convention. Being able to leave behind a legacy that can really impact Baltimore children is very exciting for us. We thank both the US Soccer Foundation and Musco Lighting for making this possible."

Foster-Simeon added "We are excited that together with our partners we can provide Hampden Elementary School with a new mini-pitch for kids and families to play on this spring."

Jeff Rogers, VP Development & Sales at Musco informed 'We'd like to thank all of our partners for working together to provide Hampden Elelmentary with a new Mini-Pitch System ."

Similar to the one in use at the convention, the schools surface is different, at 40'x84' the acrylic surface, LED lights, game walls, built in goals, storage, seating and ADA-accessivle gates welcome all.

CEO Baltimore City Public Schools Dr. Sonja Brookins Santeelsies informed " City schools is grateful for the donation of the mini-pitch. This gift to our young people is an example of our Blueprint for Success in action and its emphasis in addressing the Wholeness needs of our students."
