US U-15 BNT Coach, Clint Peay Joins the Coaching Staff at NCFC

Former HC of the USMNT, Dave Sarachan has added another form the NT program in Peay and Dave stated, " It's great to have Clint here, I've known him for many years and he's certainly built up quite a bit of experience working at a variety of different levels." As a player his resume is stellar, Olympics, 4x NCAA champ, 3x MLS Cup winner & a Lamar Hunt US Open Cup trophy to his credit. Peay added, "Obviously I'm very excited. This is a great club. There's a good mix of veterans and young guys. They've grown and its competitive." The Virgina Cavalier had been with DC United as it ruled theĀ  local soccer scene and his international career includes the 1993 U-20 World Cup, 1996 Pan Am Games, 1995 World University Games & 1996 Summer Olympics. He is a resident of the Triangle, and his son, Miles is a product of the NCFC Academy and is now with UNC Asheville. Along with being a coach Peay was a scout with US Soccer. 2012 saw Clint being a member of the techincal staff with the U-17's, then onto the HC of the U-14's in 2016 then onto HC of the U-15's. Before the USSF, he was HC at the Univ. of Richmond 2009-'12, prior to that he was an asst. with Georgetown, Davidson & George Mason.
