Kemar Lawrence of 'dem Reggea Boyz has popped the pond from the New York Red Bulls to RSC Anderlecht, a fabled club in the top flite of Belgium soccer, they make pretty good chocolate as well. It had been rumored he was unhappy with his contract here, his backline counterparts were making far more than the 27 year old. He had been expected to be a late arrival to camp, due on Jan. 27, pretty sure he never got there, as would be typical as if you are moving a player, you do not want him exposed to injury. His 4 seasons as a tough hard working player with the Red Bulls have come to a screeching halt.

Sporting DIrector Denis Hamlett stated "Kemar has had ambitions to play in Europe and we received an offer that makes this mutually beneficial for the club. We wish Kemar the best for this net step in his career."

Following a great tryout in 2015, he arrived from Harbour View FC. We were able to see him play this summer in the Gold Cup for his Jamaica. With NY, he had 118 games, 113 starts, good for 5 goals and 10 assists over 10,044 minutes. While playing at RBA, he received a 2018 Best XI nod and and a MLS All-Star selection. 2018 saw him in a pro high of 28 MLS games, with a pair of goals and an assist. A key in that record setting year, with 71 points, 22 wins and of course the Supporters Shield, shoring up the defense with the fewest goals in the league at 33 over 34 games .
